Shed Some Skin

You feel so alone
so you sit up at night and cut
few layers of skin every time
people say they care
but when the pain
gets too much to bare
they scare and are no longer their
but dont worry
we all know your gonna
wear that fake smile
look them in the eyes
and for a little while pretend
that you care

    This is so true for many people everywhere. I know that only because i am one of them. This is a perfect way to express the fact that people in this world will lie about always being there for us. Keep writing. You are an inspiration. :)
