Nights burn

by *nobody*   Jun 25, 2004

When day becomes midnight,
Love knocks at my door.
My soul hits the waters like the moon,
My heart searches for your face.
Those that know better say to forget it, to let it go,
But those that love like this don't listen to them.
How long will this hopelessness last?
I've let go of everything, turn back to me, this is enough.
May the nights burn, may they hit the dawn.
May the wind turn the still waters.
May this sea burn so that everywhere there's light.
Come back one morning, I can't be without you.
