Boarders, Notes, Sarcasm

by Tyler Beckham   Jan 8, 2012

Territorial human beings
walking aimlessly with different ideas
perspectives
opinions
dragging small tree branches behind them
through sand
leaving behind
trails of thin temporary lines
a cloud of swirling dust that quickly descends
and a shadow that follows with loyalty
tell me
exactly how thin are the boarders between
cities
counties
states
countries
continents?

If there is a width between these boarders
Shouldn't that mass of land have a
name
owner
boarder
itself?

I really appreciate the praise, Chelsey. Moreover, thank you for the constructive criticism. I will definitely try to take your advice and apply it to my later work.

I thought this was a very interesting topic!..I like how you chose to word this poem. I think however it could use some commas so it doesnt seem so run-on.

I quite enjoyed this piece. Good write!
