The Rain

by Susan Hendra   Jan 8, 2012

Here's likely the night has come
Though the time is motionsless inte the dawn
Up above here, dark clouds align
like marching soliders

Below the sky, people flavour the strong wind
twiddling the livid things around them
Some are running in a hurry,
some are walkning slowly

Thunder begins to display its baron and
shuffles the pulse of heart beating fast
The wind errs harder, the clouds appear streamleting
Second, minutes, the ground embarks on soggy

Here the rain descends, falling alight to a great extent
Some people holding the umbrella,
some people...without nothing,
some children playing and laughing

The rain falls down, washing-off the affliction of
people's heart might have
Such as tears of angel, acclaiming to heal,
defecating the living things to a brand new life

The raindrop has traced the window
as I am observing from the inside
I am dreaming away for someday,
I will ask the rain to dance with me!

Thank you all :) This poem was made some years ago when I was inside at the shop and it was raining outside. I looked how people acted....I enjoyed myself looking at the rain...and hoped that I could be outside one day and just be with the rain :)

Some people .........without nothing/ this contrasts with the rain that falls on everyone without prejudice ...........underlying message conveyed. Great poem
