22

At 14
I discovered all the ways
you could have a crush on a boy.
All the silly little doodles of his face
held by my notebook's page.

At 15
I got it complicated with a boy
My parents discovered about us.
So there it went
a STOP.

At 16,
School's busy.
Applying to universities.
Love had negative visibility.

At 17,
I got it complicated with a girl
Oh my my..
was all my father said.
Turned out I'm different.

At 18,
Still confused about things,
but I was holding on to my degree.
No boys, no girls.
Just books and me.

At 19-21
Everything was blurry
Grades were good
and my heart played both worlds.
Guess I'm gay.

At 22,
I don't regret anything
I've finished what I've started
I have passed the boards.
God bless my license.
I've learned a lot
They can say what they want
NOW I just want to be ME.

Always be yourself and never care what anyone else has to say about it. Great job expressing how things are for people who are bi and who strive to be more than just a "different" person according to parents results.
