Don't Get Me Wrong

by Melissa   Jan 10, 2012

I mourn for the butterflies,
their departure was sudden
unexpected (my fault)
I hope they'll find their way back
to my belly
and tell me,
it's okay to adore you

I long for romance;
to be swooned
and unafraid of gravity,
to hear daisies hum lullabies
at my window sill

their songs are more gentle
than this rosebud sting,
but there's something about bleeding
that can make a girl feel
unabashedly alive

Sorry, complete amature at the wheel commenting here..

Extremely interesting, I've just been drifting into many different conclusions, so much that ill have to study this one and really try and understand where its taking me.....daisys and roses for funerals and butterflies in belly when in a state which gravity has no weight...falling! And the ironic ending is great.

I believe I've cracked it at last being the simpleton that I am, let's see what others think first...
