I started off lost afraid and scared, scars from the past covered my heart.
Yet somehow when I met you everything felt right, as if you would be the one to give me a new start.

You looked deep in my eyes and it was like you knew all the pain that i'd been through.
You took me in your arms and you gave me that smile, and I felt like everything was ok, even if only for awhile.

You touched my soul and spoke to my heart, you've forever left your mark.

When we're not together nothing is right, the days seem like an endless night

Without you I am incomplete.
My life without you is empty and bleak.

Soon again will be the day I'm in your arms, this time to stay.

I'll look into those deep blue eyes and remember again why I promised you forever.
