Your heart still beats my name,
you are still so in love with me,
why are you running away,
when we fit together so perfectly.

All my life I wanted to find you,
now I let you walk right out of my life,
you were everything I ever wanted,
I wish you could have been my wife.

As I stare out this dark window tonight,
I can't help but think of your beautiful face,
wondering how you are doing tonight,
longing for you sweet, pure embrace.

I still miss you like crazy,
I love you more than ever,
please won't you come back,
so we can be together forever.

    The last stanza was my favorite... That plead for the person to come back to you is so relateable for so.many people... It really captures the essence of desiring to give someone a second chance; amazing, cupcake.

    Aww this poem is so sweet... I could feel the longing you feel for this person.. and how the love is still there, even if this person is no longer in your life.

    >> love this stanza, it is definitely my favorite part in this poem! it was so romantic and sweet!

    The entire poem was sweet, nostalgic, and heartbreaking as well... and made me think about the nice parts of love, but the sad parts of love as well.
