Our Special World

by Kristina   Jan 12, 2012

Nestled here together - heart touching heart
We have woven a cocoon around ourselves
And it shields us from the intrusion of all else

Naught to infiltrate our surroundings but the beating of our hearts
Gazing into your eyes and reaching into your soul
Finding what lingers there waiting for me to explore, unearth and cherish

Reaching, grasping, holding tight - never to let go
Of everything we have between us
All that has come before and more that is stronger and yet to come

Taking each day as it comes and is given
Knowing that each moment will be emblazoned within our hearts
Inscribed, as in stone, never to diminish and always to remember
