Poets in a Cage

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 13, 2012

I have read less hollow
rhymes than shallow critics
There is usually more to
poetry than analytics
More to minds than mathematics.
In the hearts of hopeless romantics
is the rhythm of the universe
where evolution is so diverse.
The Big Bang is now the rage
we must analyze in our cage

I like the description of the cage we live in.

"In the hearts of hopeless romantics
is the rhythm of the universe
    where evolution is so diverse."

I loved reading these lines Michael. They have a lot of meaning bound onto them. That explains what some of the caged poets do and the kind of mournful pieces they come up with.

A short one with a lot of greatness in it.

    Loved it.

Love the way the syllables bounce in this poem . this write makes me want to read some of your poetry about the cage of existence we live in.

You know I analyze our cage more then
    the average bear.

have you written many a new poetry on the topic that is our universe.
