This ended with the perfect question considering the subject of this poem! I have asked myself the same thing. Being broken hearted can make anyone feel bitter and closed off, afraid to be hurt again. Trust me, I do understand that. But it just reminds me of that saying 'it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all'...? I really do admire this piece. Nicely expressed and very sad. :( just remember that not everyone is going to hurt you and some people are worth giving a chance. I doubt you'll be looking for that someone so in that case I hope that someone finds you. :) Anyway, amazing write! 5/5
