Skin growing pale from just a
sight that gave her chills at
night; his hand in someone else's
while they share passionate kisses.
Waiting by the phone for hours on
end; hoping that this time he'll actually
take the time to give her some sort of
hint that it's even close to being over.
Tears swelling up in her blood shot
eyes; there is never enough make up
to cover up all the scars people leave
