Letter 50 "Precious Memories"

by Marcus blake   Jan 15, 2012

Letters, words, feelings...
The less complicated the harder it is to really see
Easy things never feel right, or good
They just make the moment right...
Some people could care less about worth and things like love
But not me, never
That'd mean forgetting about you and the things that remind me of you
Things like a sunset in the evening, a gentle breeze, and the moonlight
The touch of your face, that feeling I would get when my hands wrap around your waist
How foolish could anyone be to sacrifice that, to lose you
What soulless world I'd be forced to wander, how life would haunt me
knowing nothing of you, except for that same precious memory
And nothing else...

You penned the simplicity of love. Nothing complicated or bizarre but forthright and sincere

I really like this poem because many do show little regards for things that matter most like love, honesty and loyalty and I really value all of these so that why I love this piece. Great poem
