Omg,, I couldnt help but nominate this Lol Larry indeed such a cure for my last night :P

I love it all, each single part of it, added to my favorites, I will make the whole family read this.
I love the sense of humor in the last part, actually it made me really happy
I love how your wording in the 1st verse helps
us visualize the image of the moon in a very peaceful sense!

You really know sunshine, very well, Larry Larry!

edit: as a side note, thank you for using yellow" :P :D

Loved the rhyming structure along with the theme. Smooth choice of words. Most of the poems i read are with too strong content, very rarely anyone bring a smile upon face, glad i came across this one.

all the best and take care

At first, I was confused by "Sunshine, see the moon" then, my brain switched on and I realised, "sunshine" is the person you are speaking to. This was an adorable write. The last stanza in particular, made my heart warm. Ducks are my soft spot, my weakness, I love them. I use them a lot in my writing and they remind me of someone very dear to me. Your poem, although about someone I do not know very well, reminds me of what is important to me, so I thank you

    Sunshine, see the moon
    high, yellow and waning,
    fills night's sky sustaining
    lest you sleep too soon.

^Descriptive, picturesque, wonderful start to a beautiful piece.

    Do not tarry over books,
    find your life love soon
    he'll sing a precious tune
    while taking in your looks.

^Creative little stanza with a nice use of heads up to your friend.

    Brings you in the dark
    great fortune and luck,
    then, sunny little duck,
you will sing like a lark.

    ^Stunning, simple end. Excellent job.

The word choice is so simple yet this piece has such amazing imagery and descriptions. It was hopeful and heartfelt.
I love how your rhymes are so smooth and unforced.

    5/5

I can see why Nana is cheered by this piece; its heart warming, enchanting and makes one full of joy. This is a wonderfully crafted work of a veteran. Describing one of natures ever glorious, the 'Sun'. Very peachy and crisp and lovely descriptions of natures art, 'Sunshine'. Your truly an inspiration to all, a perfectionist that has exquisite poetic musings. Appealing to the eyes with beautiful wordings and soothing to the ears, rhyming smoothly. All i want now is to see an illustration to it. Such an exuberating piece of art, I'm inlove with this. Remain blessed Sir Larry, humble respects and gratitude; for sharing such an awesome piece. Peace, bye.
