as I ask you this
I know that I'm not much better than you.
So you can't say that in response, because I already know that.
So it won't do you any good. Anyways...
how can you say you have such a strong faith in God when you do things all the time to contradict that?
I guess you were right when you said
you're not the best person to follow after in my walk of faith.
So as I sit here,
I'm telling you that I'm no longer gonna follow behind you or
try to be like you.
I'm gonna create my own path
and do things differently.
And hopefully in a way that is pleasing to God.
