    Hahahaha
Oh Anna, I don't think I have ever read this one before, I don't think you have ever posted this on your prior account that I remember. This poem is delightful and I can just hear you saying these things, this poem is truly you. I have not laughed so hard in a while. What a gem to read first thing in the morning. So very glad you posted it.

As for critique.... it's should be its....How many times have you helped me with mine and I finally get to catch one on yours.

    Love you much,
    Kay

Brilliant. I want to see a nasturtium like that too. They are not up here (UK) yet but always welcome. Can't blame the bird though - they do taste good. I lived your emotions and laughed too. Wonderful!

I've never seen you write in this style before Anna so I'm assuming this is a new poem from you?

The first stanza, focusing on the description of the nasturtium, was excellent and set the scene up so well. You drew the reader in to spend a quite moment in your garden and then mehem broke loose...your flower was...gone! What happened next was just hilarious and very easy for the reader to imagine happening....the ending well...what can I say...I just laughed my head off at the flower ending up in the nest...This cheery verse brightened up my morning. Now let me go check on my flowers...haha!!!

Just awesome :-) every word was delightful. I never read the longer poems, I guess I'm lazy but once I started I was hooked. Loved it
