Does the Pain Feel Real?

by Annabel   Jan 20, 2012

From day one we both knew,
What we wanted was to avoid the blues.
There was a point when I believed you loved me,
but that was before I was aware of your infidelity.
Devastation from your actions striking my heart,
After strike three, I batted again, love in the way of my smarts.
My mood toward you, one day had changed,
In my book, I flipped the page.
My mind at times crowded with thoughts.
You're in them, and they recall the pain I fought.
When I look in he mirror what do I see?
I see a heart, a mind, a soul now free.
Without you things aren't the same...
It's sunny now, it doesn't rain.
How do you like it when the tables turn?
How does it feel when your heart melts, and burns?
Tell me now how does it feel?
Tell me how it feels when you're the one making a big deal?
How is it when your the one who can't sleep at night?
How does it feel when you toss and turn, and nothing feels right?
Tell me now how does it feel?
Tell me now, how does it feel when you can't find it in you to eat your meals?
How are your days, are they lonely and cold?
How does it feel when my action is bold?
Tell me now, how does it feel?
Tell me now, does the pain feel real?
