Judgment Day

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 20, 2012

Let judgment run as waters, you may discover
that righteous is a mighty stream
though you can't judge a book by its cover,
things are not always as they may seem
Tears were shed and heaven wept
as mercy fell like sacred rain
earth flooded and wicked were swept
away like miserable pain
caused by turning from created Light
and was seen as a most terrible evil
by those that had naught the foresight
to enter the ark before the upheavel

I'm speechless~ This piece is just wow... I have read many poems in regards to "Noah's Ark" but this piece is my favorite... I can't help but just shed a tear on this poem because it's emotional volume is out of this world...
