Paradise

by Cody Bombardier   Jan 22, 2012

You were promised the world,
But those words were twirled.

You were told you would have it all,
But some were down the road there was a wall.

You dream of blue sky's,
As an ever expanding prize.

Fields of bright yellow flowers,
So you could pass all hours.

Big bright white mansions,
With thoughts of an expansion.

Big blue peaceful waterfall,
In the middle of a forest that stands tall.

She dreamed about this paradise,
And she never wanted to think twice.

Everyone has a place that they can escape to,
But that place is always too good to be true.

A place so stunning,
You're never running.
