A memory

by sarah k   Jun 25, 2004

Life or death
That's what it finally comes down to
Just one smooth jerk of the finger
And I am nothing but a memory
A memory that won't be looked back upon often
And when it is
It's only to criticize
And point out faults.

My funeral will be small
Not many guests
Only because I am unloved
Uncared for.

I was a mistake
A mistake everyone hates
That is why I choose to go
To a better place
A place where I am not looked upon as evil
A place where I can express myself freely
Without criticism.

Now it is time for me to say goodbye
I slowly count down
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
BANG!!
I am nothing but a memory.

**please comment on my poems. it really doesnt matter if you say you hate them or like them. i just need some assurance that people understand my feelings and my thoughts. thanx**
