It's hard to pretend everything's okay when it's not
It's even harder to smile like nothing's wrong
How can you hold back the tears when no matter what they try to flow
Why should you always have to walk away when it's not what you want to do
Why walk away from what your know you want to fight for it
Never walk away from what you want no matter how hard it is
It's even harder to walk away from someone your love then you may think it is
One can try to pretend that everything is all right when it's not
You can close your eyes from the pain your feel but you can never close your heart
