27th May, 2010. This Is about the ongoing religious chaos in Jos State, Nigeria. Sky turns dull swiftly Stars fade into bleak space Wind airs arid breeze Nature despondent cries Ache sweeps me off joy As happiness resents even my sight Forlorn in this stormy conflict I long for the showers of delight Lost in the path of love I prowl with diverse victims in santuary My heart weeps in despair As I await to be unmask by love Trees singing the dirge endlessly Lawn quivers in distress As shears cuts through them Left desolate like nomads As I unviel this cradle of misery Loneliness hovers in while Depression wonders through me Wailing for affection pain blindfolds me Sitting in the refuge camp I supress my sobs in my locket Thinking of when I stepped out Not knowing that was the end Waiting for The Saviour To untie me from this shackles Of self-induced torment by insatible souls In the hearts of an agog city (c) Y-MAG
