Flowers or diamonds

Some people say it with flowers,
some with diamond rings.
All these things are beautiful,
but they remain just things.
The only real way to get into your heart,
is to be honest , loving and truthful,
right from the start.
Those other things will follow,
just you wait and see.
When i set out to do something,
there is no stopping me.
So when the time comes,
there will be red roses for you.
And if you want more,
you know what you must do.
