In this place, I've grown into an adult,
its been there through the days of happiness,
shared my tears, far into the night,
known my fears, that i din wanna fight,
understood the emotions, I couldn't express,
seen my dreams, vanish in the light,
heard my secrets, i whispered in the dark...
It understands what gets my heart going,
or what makes, the blood pumping,
sees me through, all my facades,
comforts me, when im all messed up...
Its been my fortitude in every way possible,
assuring me, at every step,
that the familiarity would never cease,
its the only place on the entire planet, thats solely mine,
the only time I can peel of all my layers,
n still be fine..
My room...its my safe haven, till the end of time...!!
