First Loves Never End

by Dictionary   Jun 25, 2004

I hear the wind blow,
A tumbleweed rolls by.
My heart is an empty wasteland,
Thanks to your lies.

Every day I wonder,
What could have happened to us?
We were perfect friends,
No separating us.

One little lie demolished us.
A small breaking of a rule.
To my surprise you left my world without remorse or sorrow,
You were gone forever.

I still think about that day in May,
The last day of school.
The last time I would hear your voice, see your smile, feel your warmth.
The last time I would know happiness.

Not a day passes by that I don't remember you.
I miss you with all my heart,
But I have moved on.
I found a new love.

Now I feel wonderful again.
I feel free and mite.
But just the other day,
I saw you passing by.

My first love was back again.
Whatever would I do?
We talked for hours,
And at the end decided what to do.

I will always love him,
And he will always love me.
But our lives are different now,
Please don't forget me.
