Wonderful, hope your daughters get to read this. Its always good to know that you are saying your goodbyes but you still have lots of years ahead of you. The emotions in this were pure and heartfelt and to say the truth, i applaud you for writing this down because its not many of us who can accept we will die and say our goodbyes before hand.

Thank you for your kind comment, you read my mind completely. being 80 now, I likely dont have too many more years, but I will live what I have to the fullest, I have a copy to each one of my daughters, so they will get to read it in the end. I just want them to know that my last thoughts will be on them.

OMG this struck such a chord with me. My father has been on borrowed time for awhile now and we have been sharing special moments with the time left. I think what you've done by leaving them a copy is so special and something for them to treasure always ...
