I think that this is a good poem, your words really show how honest this poem is. It underlines your vulnerability. I would only recommend to capitalize the "I".

Aww, I hate to say that I've had many guy friends who felt this way, that they were nice and therefore somewhat overlooked but stay the nice, beautiful person you are!
