To my family.

by True Happiness   Feb 2, 2012

The rent is high,
the cash is low,
my mother cries,
my father hides.
In this world,
its hard to survive.
I made a promise,
I'm going to keep,
To save them all.
I'll make a diffrence
in there lives.
No one can stop me,
from my dream.
I will learn to sing.
I'm true to my hearts disire.
I will make the videos
worth their while.
My voice will help to bring the help.
A small green peice of cotton,
with Franklins face on both sides.
The money will help,
pull them up, off there knees.
With outstreached arms,
they will find me.

Well written and just so really opens me up to the situation of this world. Its nice that you know what you want to achieve in life and with determination like that you have shown in this poem, you will surely make it not only for you but your family as well.

Your words genuinely move me. Your determination and innovative thinking will do a lot, young lady, in these difficult times. All the best. Nominated for the substance and courage in writing this piece.
