Nothing escapes a mind that can't forget
such as a shadowed entity that cries
every night In my endless dreams
these are the deepest thoughts
that passed away with my unread diary
watching the forgotten pages float away
along a river of shattered expectations....

    Wow, that was depressing. :( How much sorrow can a 7 lined poem possess?? You did a wonderful job on expressing the disappointment and the lingering sadness you must've felt...(or are still feeling) for a long time. Wow. Really, this is a great write!
