Wanting To Be Free

Looking around
For somewhere to hide
For somewhere she can go
Where she don't have to hide

Down the street
Up the block
Running really fast
Trying to beat the clock

She wants to get away
She wants to be free
She wants to be somewhere
Where herself she can be

She wishes for someone
Someone who would come
Someone who would love her
And always be there

She wants to be herself
She wants to break away
She just wants people to know
That she can't stay

But until she summons up the courage
To tell people how she feels
In herself she will hide
In a world so unreal
