My Man (Acrostic/Tongue Twister)

by Maple Tree   Feb 5, 2012

Jewelry jumps in his jacket of joy
jolly jokes jive from the jaws of a boy.

Authentic ankles ache to be adorned
analyzing an angels attitude is scorned.

Macaroni magically mesmerizes me
mixed and matched with marmalade tea.

Excitement explodes with endless esprit
enchantment erupts in sweet ecstasy.

Selfishly singing slowly with sanity
sacrificing silly songs for my vanity.

Dedicated to my Husband James~
he challenged me to write an acrostic poem
that is a tongue twister and that rhymes...
here you go love, enjoy :-)

Wow! This is amazing!! I can't even begin to imagine how long it took to not only have the tounge twisting make sense -- but to rhyme! Also, a great way to develop writing ability!!
