And the clock continues to tick without you,
As strange as it may seem,
From the days when we were always together,
And everything thats occured in between.
I wonder what you doing sometimes,
And im curious where your life is at,
What the hell you have been through,
To be making you do that!
To be going down that path,
You promised you never would,
To be sticking that junk in your arm,
I thought you never could!
I feel like even maybe,
I never really knew you at all,
Perhaps you were just destined,
To take this sort of fall.
And yes i feel responsible,
I know that you blame me,
But you must understand its not my fault,
That you and I weren't meant to be.
I dont wanna see you waste away,
And succumb to this dirty sh*t,
I always had faith in you,
And i knew you were better than this.
I hope one day you read my piece,
And take hold of my words,
Knowing that i share the pain
