Crossroads

by Eibutsina   Jun 25, 2004

It seems we've reached this point in time,
Where one of us must draw the line,
The times we've shared were the best,
It doesn't mean our friendship is any less.
I look back recently, haven't things changed,
Deep down i know they'll never be the same,
Standing alone when the road is rough,
Is gunna be hard and is gunna be tough.
But i know its me who needs to let go,
I'm just finding it difficult to actually do so,
Ive never had a friend quite like you,
Or a friendship how we used to do.
A person on whom i could always depend,
Someone i could call my best friend,
The pain is deep and the pain is sharp,
Its slowly tearing up my heart.
There i can do to regain,
Things will never be like that again,
The tears well up in my eyes,
I'm trying my best not to cry.
The the reality hits me clear
Take a deep breath and wipe away my tear,
My mind knows just what to do,
And thats the last tear I'll cry for you.
Good bye and Good luck, i wish you the best,
I know one day you'll be a huge success,
I'm adapting my life to another mode,
I've already overcome so many crossroads!
