Mother knows best

by sun spots   Feb 6, 2012

What i feel now has been a distant memory,
of what i felt for you when i was but nineteen.
You were just seventeen and we were made for each other,
but fate had other plans for us.
which were egged on by your mother.
She never really liked me,
I never knew why.
She told me to my face,
she didn't bat an eye.
But that was years ago,
and we are in love once more.
So when i meet your mum again,
this time I'll make sure.
Your daughters made her choice,
to spend her life with me.
You will have to to like it,
and also to like me.

I don't have any I'll feelings towards your mum. I Hope your mum and i will be able to get on well together. No , none of us are perfect and my mum and dad will tell you the big mistake they made with me when i was young which they deeply regret now.
