My Home

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Feb 7, 2012

2005.

Aflame in the morning, the atmosphere welcomes,
my magnificent sunshine that glitters the chateau.

The chateau that yearns for air,
for it cleanses the impurities of my home.

The residents nurture the abode,
for no inhabitant can relish without a shade of mud.

Firm it stands till the end of time.
So precious it is like a soul.

When in solitude, it is the domain,
that inspires my ambition as a person.

The person in me it creates,
creates the life i've achieved,
achieved it within the serene
walls of my home.

:) You have soothed me, really. It sounds like some kind of lullaby.... maybe it sounds also like 'The House That Built Me' .... this song about Home, which I always listen to.
Great description, language and figurative language.
