Autospy of Love

Feeling the intensity of your flame
becomes an organic obsession
eating away the first layer
reminds me of the sweet kiss
leaving a lingering desire
to seek further, passionately
embracing the core
turmoil seeps slowly
down my fingers
burning the words
from my heated tongue
singed, bruised, dehydrated
devouring the last second of light
I spontaneously com-bust
causing a meteor rain shower
my tears overtake the world
as darkness speaks of our love....

    Wow! I really liked the title too, it caught my eye. I really think this poem was filled with emotions, and showed the power of love and what it can do to you... how it can be good but also drive you crazy!

    You used a lot of strong words that expressed raw emotions.

    Amazing poem.. great job!
