White light

by David   Feb 9, 2012

From the chapters of time
through the mouth of men immortal
legend speaks of a white light
which kindles in africa

riddles where solved to know the light
and prophecy were traced to know its time

chocolate in colour and with the hight of the west
with eyes that can seduce an eunuch it winks
with watery lips and a snow coloured teeth it smiles
the voice from it is sweeter than that of a flute
and its nose points towards me like that of a fulani
so slim it burns and dances like a tiv lover

swift as the wind
gentle as the forest
fierce as a flame
and firm as the mountain
it came and occupy ma soul

a thousand poet lines can't explain what i felt
i wield my emotion in defence
but with its way
as mysterious as darkness and as powerfull as thunder
i was subdued
my veins burns with white blood
and my soul forged in shapes by its heat
now i know no thought and heart beats but it
am helpless like wingless bird
and occupied by a flame i desire
so sweet it burns my sences
i cried with sweet pains n ask for more

then did i understand u were the white light my love
