Moments In Tranquility

by RustySoul   Feb 10, 2012

Sitting on a lonely shore
Under the moonlit sky,
Gazing at the dark horizon,
Cool breeze passing me by.

How wonderful it is to feel
The water lapping against my feet;
Rendering solace to my heart
That often in loneliness beats.

As the night fades away
The stars hide and the sky turns blue,
It's a delight to watch the rising sun
That's filled with golden hue.

Nothing shall ever equal
The pleasure that nature brings,
The way it comforts my mind,
Muddled with a thousand things.

Thus, here I sit and revel in
The pleasures offered by the sea,
How good it is to spend alone
Moments in tranquility.

You are a very good writer, my friend.
I am a fan of nature too and believe in cherishing every moment of our life.
The best way to do it go out in the nature, like, near a sea or some hill or forest.

Nature itself is a healer. It always tranquils our body and soul.

    Good job, once again.

Mashallah!! I love nature so much and this poem describes how nature appeals to us. I like how started off and your transition was intact and the rhythm flowed smoothly. Beautiful scenery, i could see the events unfolding with vibrant colors. I so much love the peace this poem radiates within ones soul. This is more than brilliant, Tabarakallah!
