Old town

by Ole Carsten   Feb 12, 2012

Walking with you in the old town
Plundered by many kings with crowns
You and I can feel the present of history
Ottomans and Thurzo's is a mystery

Walking hand in hand in love
Clear blue summer skies above
The sun is heating your bare shoulders
Soon weather is changing colder

Love to walk here with you
Walking in all season and nothing to do
Summer shine, fall rain, winter snow
and spring green now, flowers will show

Every City has its gates
Maybe even something people hate
I don't care as long as you're here
With you I want to be near

I wish I could see back to 1113
See the towns first scenes
Walk at the first square and pray
Seeing all up to date and stay

The air is fresh in the high hills
Love doesn't come with a bill
Prievizda is a special town to be
Our walks becomes precious for me
