Today is dull
Slowly dragging along
Waiting until the day
I forget your face

Each night is like before
I lay there staring at the walls
Blank, they are, like my heart
Dark, they are, like your's

All I want to do is sleep
Dive in my dreams
But they never come
By 3 AM I'm over run

Your face
Your touch
Your smile

I can remember when you said to stay awhile

Your laugh
Your kiss
Your hug

Then I leaned in so close letting you wash over me

I try to close my eyes
I need to drown you out
Then your memory replays
Over again I can find more of my mistakes

My blade calls to me now
In the empty room
I hear its evil whispers
I can't tell if they're lies

6 AM time for school
Time to cover up the pain
Put on the mask of being OK
Hurry to hide the bloody blade

All over again it happens
Soon enough I'll break free
Pressing a bit harder each time
Until the darkness takes over me
