If She's Gone... (Free Verse)

Looking on the ocean as the waves roll by. Nothing on my mind but her and life. What will happen if we let those people break us apart? What will my life turn into if she's gone from sight? Will my heart continue to beat? Or will time cease for me? Fighting against what may seem unbeatable will be worth it in the end with her by my side. Victory is dim but I'm certain that it will come to the light. Going on nothing but will power and the strength of my heart. The enemy thinks they know us. No, they don't know shit. I don't think anyone knows the first thing about us. I see things in her no one else sees. I don't think she is even aware of the wonderful things I see in her. The oceans waves calm down. The enemy is gone and my heart beats forever on in sync with hers. Staring into her eyes and slowly gives into my deep love for her.
