Just a dream

My heart beats
for this plea
I'll never see

Tears shatter
at the cries
I don't receive

Desire
lingering
with a need

Wanting you
to fill this
empty feeling
within me

Though I realize
this is only a dream
and this can never be seen

And I wish I knew
how you see me
and what your feelings could be

I try to seek
from deep inside me
of what my feelings could be

Still I should just ignore
and worry no more
as I can see...
we will never be

And as my heart beats
for this dream,
it's all it can be

No more
than a dream
