This poem makes me want to learn the language.

I find that it is so beautiful and such a poetic poem.

I was reading the first part and I could understand a few words. Spanish and Portuguese do differ allot, but it's interesting how the words look and I want to understand Portuguese just so I could read this poem on my own.
I love this piece specially this part.

" I am where I was supposed to be and I have been where I should always be. I recognize this place, seeing for the first time what I have ever seen because you are here looking at this same sky and unfurling the flowers with the same words that touch the metals and the oceans"

This prose-poem transcends the individual. it may have been for George, but the true target is what in Celtic lore we call Bride, the goddess of the land.

Humans experience the divine through a heirophony - a physical manifestation having profound subjective meaning. Your recognition that essence goes beyond language is implicit embracing of that intuitive grasp known as sartori - it is a glimpse of nirvana which changes ones life.

But here I rattle on, applying thought and reason to the very absence of reason: Knowing in its most gutteral sense.
