Weeping Blues

by aminath   Feb 23, 2012

Oh my necklace of silky pearls
Smiling glory of silver curls
I doth fear for thy Mayfair of loveliness
Glistening dew in the mystic blueness
I weep for thy country men
I weep for humanity
Against profanity
When 'tis folk hath lost their sanity
Some hath followed one foolish serenade
Whilst some hath embraced the grenade
All in the name of God
Nay, but the littlest of thought
Makes one doth wonder
Upon a lunatic's secret blunder
'Tis commonly wist to be a masquerade
By hook or by crook
Them gentile folk doth craved
Hath their vengeance put forward
For scaffolding backstab
Rusted blade and all that
Wait and see before long
Dark winds shalt blow from the west and East
And 'tis we against the tide, whom shalt be swept
Good and bad and all

'Tis I who weep at this hour
Yay, I weep for my mother
I weep for thee
For I long to be held by thy tender bosom once again
I want to be sane
I long for peace
