Set you free

by Georgina Gilbert   Jun 26, 2004

Don't forsake me,
the choice is unclear,
your young heart will break me,
and I'd hate to be dear,
you think your confused,
by how i behave,
but you are the one,
that I'm trying to save,
so deeply disguised,
and so deeply disturbed,
I'll give you my line,
and you know it's unheard,
no heed is taken,
due to words i speak,
now your mind has waken,
the door is what i seek,
as this seem to be my job,
freeing mind and soul,
then leaving people,
to breathe and grow old,
yet, unappreciated,
I let you carry on,
You know that I'd stop you,
If I knew I was that strong,
I set you free,
and I mend your heart,
you made my scars bleed,
before I could start,
if you took my hand,
and felt your heart yearn,
I hope you realise,
you'd make mine burn.
