The very first poem i wrote for you,
you answered it by saying,
i think i am falling for you.
And i knew then that this was the start,
i could feel i was winning your heart.
You always had mine,
so i had to be sure of your love for me.
Three hundred plus poems down the line,
i now know your heart is truly mine.
How many more poems i will write,
i cannot say but i will try.
As long as you say you love me,
these poems will flow freely from me.
