Nothing To Give

Its not that i want to die
i just don't want to live
its not that i want to lie
i just have nothing to give

and its not that i don't love you
its just i don't know how
i know i don't make sense too
because everything seems so fake now

and its not that i don't care
I'm just not good at showing it
i know this wasn't your cross to bear
I'm just stuck in this bottomless pit

its not that i don't want to live
i just feel like i don't belong
and i know that this all comes as surprise
i have to admit that I'm wrong

and its not that i want to die
i just don't want to live
its not that i want to lie
i just have nothing to give

    I've been sitting here for three minutes drawing blanks on what to say here. It's a good poem, has a lot of heart and feeling wrapped up on it. It's just so saddening and sullen. I don't know whether to critique the poem or try to say something to help you out of the dumps. All I can say is, take life by the ropes, its meant to be a ride you control, and not a roller coaster that forces you through its ups and downs.
