Feud and Trouble

by Daisy if you do   Feb 29, 2012

When trusty cauldron begins to bubble
So begins the feud and trouble
With added bits of cypress roots
And stems of ripened bamboo shoots
A cats eye cast amidst the brew
A drop of Rockies mountain dew
Should do the trick to hurt my ex
With this darkened spell of hex

Challenge to write a dark spell
Figured I would throw a funny twist on it.

This is excellent - like something out of Macbeth! The rhyming is excellent as is the language used. Well done - a different and accomplished write.
    All the very best,

    Kay,*

I had to comment on this one because I loved it a lot. It's one of those catchy little verses where the flow is 100 percent perfect and you find yourself boppin along to each line!

It's one of those poems that makes me smile over and over and I always love your ability to make me laugh, doesn't matter if it's in poems, in M&M or just in general. You have such a lovely personality and it shines through in poems like this.

I must say, I was pretty impressed by your ingredients. Mountain Dew, how yum! Some interesting contrasts amongst the ingredients you picked but I can tell you had a lot of fun with this prompt.
