Winter wonderland ( collab with Liliana)

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Mar 1, 2012

As white snow falls from the sky...
The floor beneath me changes
With each flake.

And this ground I walk through
Shows me how the beauty of
Winter can illuminate my death
Cold heart.

I find myself staring at this
enchanting new world infatuated
by clear crystals on naked trees
Glowing in the moonlight.

mother natures children covered
in the glittering frost as all colours
are banished from sight releasing the
invasion of this winter wonderland.

I love this poem. I love the images.

I love how you mention that the beauty of the snow can illuminate a cold heart. Something cold can bring warmth to something else cold.

    Beautiful

The names synchronize, and so does this piece. I love how green it feels... how fluffy and melodious.
