She can take the thought of you walking out,

And moving on with someone else.

But she can't take pretending to be happy,

And not knowing what she's holding on for.

She can handle the pain of seeing you happy,

Even if she's not the one who puts that smile on your face.

But she can't take the thoughtof you walking through that door,

And lying about where you've been.

She can take the thought of you not loving her anymore,

And handle the tears that come with the goodbyes.

But she can't take not knowing the truth anymore.

She can take the hurt of being alone,

And moving on with her life, without you.

But she's can't take not knowing what her heart is breaking for.
